Presented on a rotating carousel served with seasonal vegetables, mash and chips so you may feast at your leisure.

Beef

The Shire

Diced steak and potato cooked in Wold Top bitters with onions in a thick gravy.

The Brandenburger

A classic mix of minced beef with diced onion, carrot and potato in a thick gravy.

The Kentucky Saddle Horse

Pulled brisket and diced beef slowly braised with baby silverskin onions in our own Smokey Jack Daniels BBQ sauce.

Chicken

Senner

Diced chicken, mushroom and shallots in rich chicken gravy.

Palomino

A classic creamy white sauce with diced chicken breast, potato, leeks and tarragon

Skewbald

A classic pie of chunky chicken and ham in a white sauce with herbs, mushrooms and pink peppercorns.

Pork, Haggis & Black Pudding

English Cob

Belly pork, stuffing, diced potatoes and apple with a touch of cider well seasoned with black pepper and sage.

Pit Pony

Sausage meat and MacSween haggis with a ‘coal seam’ of MacSween black pudding topped off with green chillies.

Fish

Seahorse

Mixed fish with peas in a creamy white sauce (very slightly curried) topped with mash and then pastry.

Vegetarian

A mix of mozzarella, gouda and red Leicestershire cheese mixed with sautéed leeks, red and white onions and diced potatoes

Spanish style vegetables roasted with garlic and served in a fresh herb and mustard cream sauce.

The Irish Draught

Steak braised in Guinness and onion with mushrooms and thick Guinness gravy

Cleveland Bay (a real meaty feast)

3 cuts of beef, Beef Skirt, Brisket and Oxtail slowly cooked with black treacle, bacon, shallots, and chestnut mushrooms.

Holsteiner

Diced beef, mushroom, potato and red wine slowly cooked with Stilton.

Chicken

The Lijiang Pony

A classic Thai Green Curry with diced chicken, onion, garlic, fresh root ginger and chillies gently cooked in coconut milk.

Suffolk Punch

Chicken Tikka – diced chicken breast marinated in tikka spices and cooked gently in tomatoes and coconut milk.

Lamb

Welsh Cob

Diced lamb braised in garlic, herbs and red wine with carrots, celery and potato, finished with a generous helping of mint.

The Bretton Horse

Diced lamb slowly braised with shallots, garlic, herbs, carrots and port.

The Pindos Pony

A classic Kleftico from Zakinthos.

Slow cooked lamb with potatoes, courgettes, red pepper, garlic and feta cheese, topped with Gouda and Mozzarella cheese beneath pastry

Mixed game with oregano, rosemary and thyme cooked in red wine with carrots, swede, parsnip and seasonal vegetables

The Yorkshire Coach Horse

A mixed game and pork pie using seasonal game, minced pork and unsmoked bacon slowly cooked with red wine, port, shallots garlic and assorted herbs.

The Canadian Pacer

Salmon, diced potatoes and fresh leeks cooked in a white dill and lemon sauce.

Vegetarian

Roasted seasonal vegetables and chick peas served in a masala sauce, mild but packed with flavour
